This immersive program offers an in-depth understanding of Analytical (Jungian) Psychology for individuals without clinical training, as well as for clinicians seeking to integrate Jungian work into their clinical practice.

Some themes for definition and exploration may include:

• Concepts: Individuation; shadow; persona; ego-Self axis; projection; libido; collective unconscious; personal unconscious; transference + countertransference; anima + animus and an updated awareness of psychological gender / the inner feminine and the inner masculine for all people; understanding of LGBTQ+ perspectives.

• Methods: Dreamwork; active imagination; alchemical psychology; the use of divination and synchronicity in clinical practice.

• Personal application: Money; intimacy; sex; boundaries; addictions; creative life; family; parenting; and relationships.

Programming is rarely elementary, by design. Learning happens progressively and through embodied, personalized understanding, rather than merely intellectualized concepts.

Most lectures will be based on readings, which will be shared in advance.

Individuals at all levels of familiarity with this material are welcome to join.

Each month, we’ll delve into a specific story together—or a segment of a larger, ongoing narrative.

Throughout time and across cultures, storytelling is a profound expression of nature and the collective unconscious. Fairy tales and myths provide entry points into the archetypal layers of the psyche, enhancing our understanding of our shared history, personal story, and the language of dreams.

Esteemed guests will be woven into this monthly ritual, often invited to select the myth they most want to share with our community.

We will have the opportunity to learn from a wide range of experts, authors, and practitioners in areas of mythology, dreamwork, Jungian psychology, and more.

Further announcements will be made as individuals are confirmed and added to the program.

In addition to our scheduled events, the structure of our programming encourages students to initiate gatherings and small groups on topics such as:

• Dreams

• The Tarot and divination

• The I Ching

• Writing-with-myth

• Men’s work

• Incorporating queer identity into Jungian theory

You may choose to initiate something for classmates to join, or choose from other offerings.

In-person gatherings are also possible, whether for locals in a specific region or to meet up when traveling through a new town.

The clinical component of our programming consists of committed, core consultation groups of 15 clinicians, facilitated by Satya Doyle Byock and occasional guest experts.

These groups explore individual clinical cases through a Jungian lens. Some areas of emphasis may include: integrating symbolic thinking into sessions, clients’ dreams and dreams of clients, issues of transference and countertransference.

The focus is on fostering an ongoing mastery and internalization of a Jungian approach, regardless of each person’s originating knowledge base. The learning will be immersive and embodied, versus purely conceptual.

Some specific topics for clinical sessions may also include:

• The clinical relationship from a Jungian (as opposed to Freudian/ psychoanalytic) perspective. Presence, attunement, and creative expression.

• Incorporating Western medical psychological diagnosis into a Jungian frame.

• Holding a safe container, boundaries, money + payment, scheduling, and cancellations.

Discussions between group members will be facilitated via an entirely private online platform. Each clinical group will have its own dedicated space for confidential sharing.

Further one-on-one consultation will be available with Satya at a significant discount off her standard consultation fee throughout the length of the training.

Schedule: We’ll launch two new clinical cohorts to move alongside the two continuing student cohorts from 2025.

Sessions are every other week (twice monthly) at a consistent time for each group. Each meeting is 120 minutes (2 hours).

All participants will gain a Certificate in Analytical Psychology for ongoing professional development, along with 40 CEUs from The Salome Institute.

Yes! When registration opens, you’ll have the option to pay the yearly cost all at once or sign up for monthly installments (at no additional charge).

Though, please note: no matter how you choose to pay, your registration is a financial commitment to the entire year of learning.

If you are not a licensed or pre-licensed clinician, we would love to have you in the General Public track, which will be robust and full of options for additional community gatherings.

If you are a clinician who is interested in  a Jungian case-consultation group, could use CEUs, and would value a Certificate in Analytical Psychology—the Clinical track is ideal for you. You will also have access to everything in the General Public track.

If you are a clinician who has retired, is only working administratively, or you just don’t have a desire for a small case consult group, you are welcome in the General Public track! It depends on what is most useful to you.

We’ll email the waitlist as soon as registration opens. Space is limited in both sections of the program—in particular for the clinical portion, which includes small case consultation groups—so we recommend registering as soon as you can after receiving the registration link.

Registration opens on December 1st for the general public and on December 15th for clinicians.

Classes begin February 14, 2026

Most regular lectures with our guest speakers and with Satya will be on Fridays, though this may vary depending on guest teachers' schedules. There will also be regular bonus gatherings and peer-led gatherings at different times.

To invite participation across North American time zones and Europe, we'll typically meet on mornings PST, afternoons EST, and evenings UK/GMT.

For those elsewhere, we really regret the challenging gap between our time zones! We'd love to have you join us live whenever you're able to join, and via recordings.

Clinicians: at registration, you will choose the small-case consultation cohort that best suits you. This group will meet every other week at the same time.

There will be two clinical cohorts to choose from on registration day. Each session is 2hrs long. Please be prepared to sign up for one of the following cohorts on that day:

All class dates will be announced in advance with enough time for planning. You'll have access through our online platform to RSVP for the lectures, events, and gatherings that you'd like to attend.

All live sessions will be recorded and shared with students immediately following. Access to recordings will be available for the length of enrollment.

You can anticipate 20-50 pages per month for our standard programming. This is an approximate guess. We know that many people joining us are in full-time work or family life and our goal is to make this program immersive while also being accessible. Ultimately, no reading is required for the General Public gatherings but will enhance your learning.

Clinicians can anticipate this same amount of reading, additionally, for clinical case consultation groups.

For general public members, approximate session times are about 3 hours per month (90-minute gatherings x 2), with bonus sessions and peer-led gatherings. You can always choose what you want to attend.

For clinicians, consultation groups will be an additional 4 hours per month (2 hour gatherings x2).

The amount of time you spend reading, writing, and engaging in the community is entirely up to you.

Your participation in the year-round program lasts for twelve months from registration. The program itself is on-going and you are welcome to re-register!

For the first round of registration for 2026, this means that your participation will conclude mid-February 2027, unless you choose to re-enroll.

We will observe a slightly lighter schedule during some of the summer, and major holidays at the end of the year. The community space for peer-led gatherings and conversation will remain open at all times.

We’ll announce off-weeks in our schedule. The majority of events will be recorded for review if you need to mis anything during your own vacations etc.

Yes, we do offer full and partial scholarships to the program.

We have offered awards to all previous applications to date. Due to the large number of requests and awards, we have closed the application for this year.

If we open for a new round of registrations in 2026, we'll provide this option again.

No! Using social media is not required at all in order to join us and get the full experience. We host our entire program on the Circle platform. Most events (if not peer-led in person gatherings) will be held on Zoom, but you'll receive all the information you need through our Circle community, which you will be able to access on a desktop and/or via the Circle app on your smart phone.
